14th SEPTEMBER 2000 with regret I have removed the grid ref of Lancaster W4929 owing to the site being vandalized I was at the site on Sunday 9th September and could not believe what I saw two large holes have been dug and litter left every where the site is so remote I just cant believe how anybody could be so wicked this is a grave where brave men gave up their lives for our benefit please take nothing but photographs and leave nothing but footprints.
