Date of crash 7th Jan 1944 the aircraft was on a ferry flight and whilst in transit it flew into mountains in low cloud and struck the 1,200 ridge half a mile north west of a small hill called Moelfre the aircraft crashed and burned at the foot of the hill six of the eleven crew survived.
